Was the blogger lying when he wrote this? 2. What can WE do to change the state Manila is in? If you visit Bangkok Airport, or if you see how other Asian nations are doing, you’d understand why the blogger was fuming. As for me I’m done pointing fingers at foreigners and blaming them for the mess we are in. Maturity comes when we stand up and take responsibility for our own actions regardless of who really has the share of the blame. Our Asian neighbors are way past blaming their former colonizers. They’re rising. We should be proud that we are Filipinos and we have a beautiful country. But this love should also make us accept our own weaknesses and lack, and exert every effort to rise above. I hope by reading this, a Filipino would decide not to spit on the road or throw garbage on the sidewalk. Wish it was that simple. At least we don’t have scary riots like those in London. (Sabay ganun eh no? :D) Read this good thoughts!!
